In the spring of 1973, a fifteen year old yours truly took this photo of Penn Central locomotive 5627 on ex-Pennsylvania track in Toledo, Ohio with his Kodak 126 Instamatic camera. Please note the smash board in the background which "protected" the swing bridge that crossed the Maumee river. The bridge and the tracks in the photo were eliminated by Conrail. |
